Butter Beans

Butter Beans (Phaseolus lunatus) get their name from their buttery taste. A small-seeded variety was found in Mexico around 800AD. There are several common names: Butter Bean, Lima Bean, Burma Bean, Duffin Bean, Rangoon Bean. They are flat-shaped, creamy white-coloured beans. Butter Beans are high in complex carbohydrates and low in fat and sugar. The beans we supply are cleaned, of uniform size and are all hand selected premium quality. This guarantees meeting all the requirements of food processors around the world.
