Black Eyed Beans

Black Eyed Beans (Vigna unguiculata) subspecies of cowpeas, are one of the most ancient crops and originated in Africa. They are now a broadly adapted and highly variable crop, cultivated around the world primarily for raw seed but also as a vegetable. Black Eyed Beans are a small, almost creamy white coloured bean with either a small black or brown spot along their side resembling an eye.
